UPDATE AND APOLOGY:
Dear all,
We are so sorry but we have made a mistake in the dates for isolation. We took the isolation date from the Tuesday when the symptoms started but, of course, the children were not in as we had closed the bubble on Monday. This means that the 10 days isolation starts from Tuesday morning and therefore ends on Thursday 22nd, meaning that the children may come back in for the last day, Friday 23rd July. We are so sorry for the upset this has caused them.
Tracy and Mike
Dear Parent/Carer of Yew class (Ms Prichard)
Your child has been identified as a close contact of a member of Yew class who has tested positive for COVID.
Please make arrangements to collect your child from school asap.
This means that your child will need to isolate for 10 days. They should not leave the confines of their house or garden during this time. Unfortunately, the last day of isolation will be Friday 23rd July, too late for a return to school.
The rest of the family do not need to isolate unless a family member develops symptoms or has a positive PCR test result. Parents who have to take time out of work to look after their child may qualify for financial assistance. Information can be found at
https://www.gov.uk/…/claiming-financial-support-under…
Your child will need to access work via Google classroom. Ms. Prichard will be in touch shortly.
