Karen took the opportunity today to take some great photos of the school grounds today!
The children had great fun decorating the composting bins around the school and the water butt and rubbish bins! There is so much life and death in the garden. It’s such a great way to see the circle of life and the interconnectedness of all things We have pruned the apple trees in our orchard and we are starting to mulch around them and plant comfrey and lungwort under them. Mulching our first tree and planting comfrey and lungwort This worm was huge! Daffodils are starting to bloom. Cleavers are starting to grow. You may know them as goose grass or sticky grass; great fun for sticking on your friend’s back, also great to soak in cold water and have a refreshing drink. This is our very old mulberry tree. It’s the only mulberry tree I have ever seen. I thought they only grew as bushes.
