We are aware that many parents will be concerned about payments that they have already made to Hestercombe, school lunches, breakfast and after school club and Okehampton, among other things.
Here is what we know so far:
Any payments already made will be held over until we return to school. Unfortunately, due to the school closure and reduction in staffing levels, we cannot process refunds at this time. If once we return to school, parents choose to have the money refunded rather than carried over, this can be arranged.
Breakfast and Afterschool Club (Wrap Around Provision)
This is the same as the lunch payments – we will carry over any payments made for when we return to school.
The deadline for payment for Okehampton has been extended. We would hope that, by September, things are back to normal. The parents and families who have already started to make payments will be given an extension to the payment date. This is all we can say at this point in time. If you have started to make payments for the residential trip, your child will be on the list if the trip goes ahead. We will know more later!
Unfortunately, we have had to postpone Hestercombe. We have been in touch with the team and they have promised to do their best to fit us in before the end of the summer term, should we return by then. If we are not back in school before the end of the summer term, we will have to look at other solutions. We would hope to still go ahead with the camp, in which case all monies paid so far would be carried over. If we are unable to arrange an alternative date, all monies paid will be returned.
