As we get closer to Christmas the children are working even harder than before!
Here are just a few snapshots if what the children have been up to this week.

We finished the week with our Elmhurst Christmas Market and a huge thank you has to go out to Michelle Beale and her family who have definitely been working like Santa’s Elves to make this event special for the children.
Verlin and I had great fun judging the Christmas Cup competition, it was so difficult as the effort and the originality of the entries was outstanding. Hopefully I will have a more detailed update on this event later on in the week.
You may be aware that we are currently trying to use a Class Dojo “Whole School” page to try and disseminate information to families in a concise and simple manner. The school has now looked into parent apps as a communication method for the whole school. We are currently looking at the system used by Hindhayes School to see if that would be the best way forward as most of our pupils come to us from them. More about this in the new year, along with a parent survey on home/ school communication methods.
Thursday 9th is Christmas Dinner day and we would like pupils to wear a Christmas jumper on that day to make it as festive as we can be.
We have our first ever virtual parent’s evenings on the 9th and 14th December and online booking went live on Friday afternoon. Any issues please contact your class teacher or the office staff and we will endeavour to help you as quickly as possible.
Thank you
Miss Airey
