Dear Parents and Carers,

Well, that wasn’t quite the end of the year that any of us had hoped for!

It has been a strange ending for so many of us. The year 6 children didn’t get their usual rites of passage, (although we hope many of them will join us tomorrow for a day of fun), some classes didn’t get to say a proper farewell to their teachers and friends at the end of the year, and Mike and I didn’t get a chance to say a proper farewell and thank you to you all, parents, friends and colleagues, for everything you have done to support the school, and us, over the course of our Elmhurst journey.

There are many, many happy memories of Elmhurst but, unfortunately, Covid has made the end of the year sad for all involved.

Mike and I wish you all the very best for the future. You have all been such a massive part of our lives and we will miss you hugely.

There is so much more we could say.

Take care, stay safe, and be excited about the future; it is all going to get better!

Much love,

Tracy and Mike

Ps. We are hoping to receive the photos from Fran today and will get them to you asap!
