An update from Hindhayes and BAM:
Thank you to those families who have been collecting their Free School Meal hampers from the School gates and did so yesterday. We appreciate that this hasn’t gone completely without a problem, but are grateful for your understanding whilst we manage the situation as best we can. Can I also thank school staff who have been helping with the distribution of the hampers and our food partner, BAM FM for being so flexible during this challenging time and responding so quickly?
From the week beginning Monday 6th April, the food hampers will be available for collection from Brookside, between 12pm and 1pm as follows:
· Monday 6th April. A 4-day school lunch hamper to cover Mon 6th, Tues 7th, Wed 8th & Thurs 9th April.
· Thursday 9th April. A 2 day school lunch hamper to cover Fri 10th & Mon 13th April.
· Tuesday 14th April. A 4 day school lunch hamper to cover Tues 14th, Wed 15th, Thurs 16th & Friday 17th April.
From Monday 20th April delivery will revert to a 5 day hamper from Hindhayes.
Apologies for the different collection days over these 2 weeks, but the kitchen where the hampers are prepared isn’t accessible on the bank holidays.
Please can I also reiterate that the Free School Meal hampers should only be collected by those families who have already done so? We have a list of people we are expecting and can avoid over or under preparing food.
If you are entitled to FSM and have not yet taken up the offer, please make contact asap by emailing Tracy (TEdwards1@ejsch.co.uk) or Mike (MLawrence1@ejsch.co.uk) so that we can add you to the list. We cannot respond to last-minute requests as BAM will need to know numbers in advance.
The hampers will need to be collected over the Easter break as we do not have the capacity to deliver during this time.
