Y4 and History off the Page

On Wednesday 29th January, History Off The Page hosted an Ancient Egyptian day for Year 4. The children, dressed in costumes, were excited and engaged by the wide range of activities available, such as: bread and perfume making, canopic jar and doll modelling, soap carving, jewellery making, scribing and painting.

In the afternoon, children performed various dances, plays and scenes during an Ancient Egyptian feast, where our slaves were required to serve the Pharaoh and Queen Nefertiti, as well as the various performers!

Huge thanks go to the parent helpers who assisted us on the day and to David who was a charismatic and knowledgeable vizier!
